Following the end of the European qualifiers, all sixteen participants for ESL One Cologne 2014 are now known.
The teams which finished in top eight at EMS One Katowice were directly qualified for this event and they will be placed in the top seeding pools for Cologne. North American qualifier didn't bring any upset as iBUYPOWER easily topped the bracket and secured their spot for the main event. Following LGB's disband, the organizers have decided to give their spot to Wolf who topped the LAN qualifier in India.
Naturally, European qualifiers brought the most excitement. Fans saw favourites dropping down to the lower bracket and underdogs securing the first two spots from this qualifier. In the end, dATm London Consipracy, Epsilon, Titan, Copenhagen Wolves and Natus Vincere qualified for the main event.
