HellRaisers lead by brilliant markeloff confidently top Group C proving they are indeed among the favorites to win this event. Titan secure a second place by beating Reason in the consolidation match.
Both games of Round One were played on de_inferno and both were won by the favorites. In the first match of the day Titan easily defeated the Swedish team coming from the BYOC qualifier; o4o, with a score of 16-2. Starting on the Terrorist side, Titan won 14 out of 16 rounds in the first half of the game , a lead which was insurmountable for the Swedes. In the second match HellRaisers won over Reason Gaming with a score of 16-5. The only interesting part of the match was Reason managing to win three consecutive rounds, taking the score of 7-1 up to 7-4. However, winning 10 rounds on the Terrorist side on de_inferno proved enough for HellRaisers to make sure that there wouldn't be any surprises in the second half. The final score was 16-5.
A gamble or not, de_mirage was picked for the winner's match between Titan and HellRaisers. HR started off on the CT side by winning six rounds in a row. Titan managed to break this streak, but HR didn't seem to mind much as they built a new one, this time with four rounds. The half time score was 12-3 in HR's favor. The second half showcased poor execution by HR, but they just couldn't lose thanks to markeloff playing so brilliantly throughout the whole match, making it 16-6 in the end. HR have now qualified for the Playoffs, whereas Titan will have to play a consolidation match against Reason Gaming.The Loser's match featured a longer pause than actual gameplay. It was an easy stomp by Reason Gaming where they allowed o4o to only take 1 round during the whole match, resulting in a 16-1 win. Although the game was played on de_train where the CT side is favored, o4o just needed to show more in the first half as Terrorists in order to expect something out of the second half.
The consolidation match featured Titan against Reason Gaming for the second spot in the playoffs of Group B. The match was played on de_inferno, where Titan started on the Terrorist side by winning the first three rounds thanks to kennyS, who got an ace in the second one. Reason punched back and got it to 3-3, but from there Titan took the match into their hands finishing the first half with a score of 11-4. In the 11th round of the match kennyS had 23 kills and 7 deaths which was more than double comparing to the second player on the scoreboard. He finished the first half with 26 kills and definetely the MVP title. The match was closer in the second half. However, with their huge lead, Titan just closed the match safely and sent Reason home with a 16-9 in the end.
