Rod "Slasher" Breslau talks with the MLG CEO Sundance DiGiovanni about the MLG StarCraft 2 Winter Arena.
- "I want us to have a season somewhere to the NBA, the NFL, Major League Baseball where you know these months, these people are playing their meaningful games I wanna be able to isolate North America, European and Asian players and have them play both independently but also bring them together for a structure like this. It's just more contained," says DiGiovanni.
- "I still love the energy of the live events, the championship events. We've got thousands of people in the room, there's an energy to that and excitement, and that's not gonna go away. But you can't have 20 of those a year. You can't support that, at least we can't, and nobody else in this space can."
- "But you can do, is you can have more of this activity, you can have more players playing for money, playing for an opportunity to see who's best that particular weekend and feed in to those large events," says DiGiovanni.
