JeeSports announces €400 Dota 2 Championship

Known from hosting tournaments in various eSport discplines in the past, JeeSports now set foot Dota 2, bringing you a multi stage tournament with qualifiers, round robin group play and single elimination playoffs.

For a total prize pool of €400, interested teams have the possibility to sign for one of the four qualifiers that will go down weekly, starting on January the 8th with the remaining three following on the 15th, 22nd and 29th.

As opposed to other tournaments like GosuCup, teams that reach a certain placing in a qualifier dont get seeded into the group stage right away. Instead points are awarded for high placings from qualifier to qualifier, with the top 16 after four tournaments moving on.

The remaining stages then proceed as used to, as the best two teams of each group will compete in the playoffs for a share of the prize money that is split up into €250, €100 and €50.

Full details of the tournament can be found at the official tournament homepage.
