From SK to fnatic: ElakeDuck on the move

[s]clan_news[/s]

Around two months ago Sk announced that they will depart with ElakeDuck due to his lack of interest in WarCraft3, but his motivation came back and he is ready to play competetive again. His new home will be fnatic as they informed just yesterday.

One of the best 394Swedish WarCraft 3 players, Sweden Björn "ElakeDuck" Ödman, returns from inactivity and is ready to compete with his opponents. Before his break he was very successfull at events such as DreamHack LAN or World E-Sport Games. After finishing third at World E-Sport Games and returning from Korea he lost the interest in WarCraft 3 and started playing Poker. He tought about retirement to be able to spend more time on Poker, but he quit playing Poker and returns to WarCraft 3. He always had a good relationship to the WarCraft manager of fnatic and decided now to join Europe fnatic.

Statement of fnatic's WarCraft 3 manager triMble:

Having Björn back in my team again is a great feeling. After his departure from Team64.AMD and his time in SK-Gaming, we still kept the contact and the special kind of friendship for all the time. I'm happy that he has decided to give his WarCraft III career a new chance, and that he is doing that in fnatic. Welcome back Björn, and let's hope that your time in fnatic will be as successful as your time in Team64.AMD.

Statement of ElakeDuck:

hi, im very happy to join fnatic suddenly my life is not so empty and meaningless anymore.

A nice addition to the roster of fnatic and a good chance for ElakeDuck to represent fantic at upcoming events like WCG Finals in Italy Monza, Italy or ESL Masters. GosuGamers wishes him good luck with his new team.
