After weeks of delays, postponements, complaints, and whining, the DigitalLife Online Qualifiers have finally commenced. The players are competiting for a spot in the LAN finals in New York.
There are several top name players in the tournament, though it appears a few of them are too busy to take part in the tournament!
The top seed in the qualifier bracket, 4K-FoV, took a default loss in his first round. Susiria did the same. The other two Korean titans in the tournament were not so kind to their opponents. Moon defeated Tek-9.TechnoBoy in the second round, and Lucifer knocked down Tek.9-Darius and verGe.Canuck one after the other.
verGe.GLaiVe, a player showing very strong results as of late, has glided his way into the third round by defeating two of his teammates: Rainman and iggy. He awaits the winner of Sonkie versus LongWalk, perhaps anticipating some more verGe on verGe action.
Moon versus Rotterdam also promises to be interesting, as we saw Moon struggle versus an orc at last week's inCup finals.
Canuck was able to defeat Shortround in the second round, making it two tournaments in a row. However, Shortround bounced back by defeating Tek-9.Darius in the losers bracket.
The losers bracket is still filled with talent. DIDI8, Susiria, Wizard, Rainman, and FoV still remain alive -- though it is difficult to say whether or not they intend to participate.
