A Swiss format group stage dictates that eight teams to achieve a 3-x win/loss ratio are eligible to proceed to the play-offs of the tournament, whilst those unable to reach three victories will drop out of the event. A total of five rounds will be played out in order to determine aforementioned eight teams.
