In the finals of Intel Katowice Challenge Bad Monkey Gaming took a 2-1 win over CMStorm and secured a grand prize of $15,000.
The final day of Intel Katowice Challenge saw the top four CS:GO female teams fighting for the title. First to open the day were a German team, CMStorm, which is also known as ex-Penta team, they took on a Polish squad, ALSEN. The German ladies came out on top of this one with 2-0 and secured themselves a spot in the grand finals. The other semi final duel featured a Swedish team, Bad Monkey Gaming, and representing North America, Ubinited. In what was a really exciting best-of-three series, BMG prevailed with a 2-1 scoreline and scheduled a grand finals with CMStorm, while Ubinited went to play a 3rd place match decider against ALSEN.
The Grand finals only went to two maps as Bad Monkey Gaming took de_cache with 16-12 and went on to play on de_nuke where BMG were even more dominant, 16-5. The Swedish ladies have secured the title of Intel Katowice Challenge and a cheque of $15,000, while CMStorm will run away with $7,500 in their pockets.
